Bought my Honzo as a frame and have been building it up over the past month. Should be done building it this afternoon followed by a de-virgining rip through the woods. I'm coming from a 26" wheeled Trans AM. Very similiar bike, with the only difference being the wheel size. I have high hopes for this Honzo. Only thing I'm concerned about is being able to flick it around the turns like the Tranny.....can't wait to find out! Cheers!
I recently got a Honzo and have changed it up a bit; XT cranks, the new SLX brakes with ice tech pads/rotors, new wheels with dt swiss rims and hope pro 2 EVO hubs, and crankbros acid 2 pedals. Rides sweet
I have been riding a store demo Honzo all season and loving it. Today I pulled the trigger and built one up for myself. Build Highlights: XX rear Derailleur and shifter, Elixir 5 brakes with Straitline levers, Easton Havoc Carbon Bar, Easton Haven Carbon wheels, Hans Dampf tires, Raceface Six C Cranks, Haven post (till I decide on which dropper to use) XTR trail pedals, the rear cassette is an 11-32 XT unit, found I did not need the 36t on the stock bike. Can't wait to go out and abuse this bike. My Raijin will be happy to get a break, and only be used for what it was meant for.

Don't worry that is the stock spacers. I have now slammed the stem as low as I can with the stock headset, and want to go lower, so I will be putting in a cane creek 110 low stack. After I decide on a stem, them I will cut the steerer.
Anyone else ride the Kona Taro? i know its a lightweight aluminum frame but i feel like it would make an amazing all mountain bike. I bought one and went out last week and im still a newbie at mtb so im wondering if the Honzo and Taro are an all around type of bike.
