yo guys,
I'm picking up my buddy's old '13 gambler 10.
I am trying to figure out what spring rate I should run. I weigh about 235, and I run a 550 on my demo with lots of preload. I also have 2 springs, a 450 and the 550, both in 3.25 length. will those work?

also, whats up with the BB? I've read that it's threaded AND press fit. Is it really both?

Hi. I weigth about the same. But I ride 350 in the old gambler 13 and exactly the same in the 2015.
For you next question I doesn't understand what you mean?
I rided the 2013 low BB and big weehlbase the bike it's stable but when it's short track with small turn it s harder to turn. And the other one is very enjoyable in this small turn.

I hope this can help you.

I've seen a gambler 10 online with a press fit BB. and then I saw another gambler 10 with a regular threaded BB in there. I'm just trying to see if it's 2 different frames with two different BB types

I think I should buy low head bolt. What kind of material of that bolt? SUS304? Resin-Treated Bolt?

Please help.

So does that mean that I should be running a 450 if I weigh 200lbs?

Posted: May 7, 2015 at 11:19 Quote
Because the 350 seems a little too slack...

Did the same thing a while back. Contact scott warranty directly, and follow up a few times.

Anyone running a dhx rc4 on their older gambler? What are your compression settings? I have a 2012 and running it in the 210mm setting. 350 lb spring. Having a hard time getting the right setup.
