Hey bmxrace121, how's the gate at Columbia? Did they figure out how to get it to drop faster?

Question for polished steel. I heard it will rust over time, so how can I maintain it so it doesn't rust?

Clear coat it

Will it ruin the polish effect??? Want mine to look pimping as they're a road quill stem and seatpost.

Clear coat will actually give it a more gloss finish. Bare in mind most clear coats are eventually broken down by UV rays.

The Kewahara that I posted (mine) is clear coated. It still looks amazing.

Please do that frame it would be so pretty, as for difficulty you could always get it media blasted? my local shop does it for 30 pounds. Just take it apart and take out every bolt, tell them to watch out for any threads too (just incase). Or if you dont want to do that i used allot of nitro morse, wire brushes and sand paper 7 or 6 hours done.

I've just had my sunday frame bead blasted and when I went to pick it up the guy said I needed to rub baby oil onto it then wipe it off, why would I need to do this and do I have to or can I just rebuild it straight away?
