How does one go about chroming something? I have a p2 that'd look nice with one...

I had mine done overseas. If you do it here in the States, it'll run you about $300-500. It's an electroplating process involving chemicals typically. It also requires the surface to be polished to achieve the highest luster, so the nicer you want the chrome-plating to look, the more you have to pay.

Can anybody tell me how I'd go about rawing my bmx bars? Can I use oven cleaner or is that just for aluminium? They're chromoly steel btw. Thanks.

Oven cleaner if they're anodized, paint striper if it's paint

You can't leave steel raw either.
It will rust.
You'll have to either re-coat the bars or constantly be oiling them to prevent rusting.
You might already know this, but if not just a heads up.
