I am actually running the Bontrager strips on my XCX rims, ad they fit great. Been riding all day and they are solid

I rode and builded today. Pretty good overall ride, but realized my bike is actually pretty strong considering it's weight. I hit a few things bluntly and heard the rim hit...but no dents. Wtf.
So the XCX rims were champs today. Hit some drops with some hack landings, railed some berms, hit some jumps. The wheels were actually noticeably stiffer than my other ones (could be a better wheel build).
I know 3 dudes all less than 5'7" and they only ride 29ers. Lostinsolitarythought is also not an extra sized person. I'm 6'3"-6'4" and I'm all bout the wagon!
Presumably you might be dinging due to lack of pressure? Didn't you say you ran like 15psi in the front or something equally ludicrous sounding? (to me!)

same I'm not entirely sure why though. I was just being patriotic plus I've said and read considerably more "inappropriate" things on here with no consequences...

This was in response to people thinking they weren't tall enough to utilize a 29er.

I am kissing the ass of 5'3". I am too short to ride a 29er. I feel on top of them like a road bike and can't throw one around like a 26"
