Hey,

I just moved from SoCal to NoVa area (Ashburn, near DC metro area).

I'm looking to get some riding in before the bike parks open. I'm planning on a season pass at Snow Shoe & getting out there as soon as they open. Not sure if any other bike parks are close enough & worth shredding...???

Let's shred!

Cheers!

Hey I am moving from Vermont down to the DC area and planning trips out to snow shoe also.... I saw a place online called seven springs about 4 and a half hours from DC in PA that might be worth checking out.

Look up Gambrill Park. I live in Reston, not too far from Ashburn and Gambrill is probably your best bet locally. Also check out Fountain head. More of trail riding but they have redone a lot of it and put some fun stuff in there that you might enjoy. Good luck

There is a place in Frederick, VA that is pretty popular. Its self shuttle run, meaning you have to shuttle yourself, but a decent amount of people ride there and can show you around (thats how I found all the trails). Its called the Frederick Watershed, better known as the shed. Its mostly rocky technical downhill but there are jumps and some north shore stuff. PM me if you want more details
