I was told you could hit 450 n/a on an lm7 with a reflashed ecu. I can also buy an lm7 rebuilt for 500$...

Nah I wouldn't say that. Nate makes 410hp and 373ftlbs to the rear wheels and that's a $3000 build.

You could hit 450 I'm sure, but the motor would probably daigo saito every event...

Idk how about reflashing the ecu though, cause nates running a standalone and it's dyno tuned.

N.a... not likely. You'd need a cam, intake, headers, valvetrain, tune, and then yeah, but not just tune and go.

You can build an 800hp lm7 for less than a 600hp jz lol.

Which is why I bought an lm7 truck. Only shooting for 600 because a tranny to handle more is too much money for this guy.

What set up are you gonna run?

My buddy is building an LS3 to run about 1100 wheel HP. He'll probably keep it tuned down a bit to handle the creep on pikes.

Borg Warner S471
Truck manifolds flipped and home brew Y-pipe, 3.5" exhaust from the turbo back
LS7 intake
Whatever I can get a good deal on for valvetrain
LS9 head gaskets
Whatever fuel system I stumble across
Performabuilt 4l60e

run er till she blows, then build up a better motor/trans I guess.

We did a ton of bank runs last night and holy f*ck is that fun. I started the day with a brand new set of tires, they were at like 60% after the comp/normal layouts and I burnt them down to 0 because we were basically hot lapping the bank. My friend watched my speedo for a few runs and we were consistantly hitting 70mph wheel speed @ 6000 rpm. I wish I watched it when my tires started getting greasy because we were bumping limiter and I'm sure it was way faster. Actual speed entering the corner was still like 70km/h and you gain a f*ckton of speed by the time you exit

Did anyone else watch pro2 last night? f*ck that was so painful. Between all the spins and inactive chase runs I thought I was watching grassroots at penticton...
