Hey all

I have recently moved to vancouver island where the trials are... kickass to say the least.
Right now I am unfortunately riding a kona stinky six, which pretty much is set up for being strictly a downhill bike.

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the Yukon fx.
I noticed that it is supposed to be an xc bike, but I'm wondering how it would preform on the DH side.
I dont plan on taking any huge drops, maybe a five footer max.

any advice is good advice Smilecheers!

I have a Yukon FX and it gets the downhill job done. 5 foot drops shouldn't be a problem. I put a new fork on it (RockShox Sektor) and it made it through a week of Whistler riding and some other downhill riding at bike parks fine.

It is definitely not a downhill bike though. Its more of a XC bike that can go downhill nicely.
