Hi. New to this forum. Riding a 2014 Mega 275. Anybody else had issues with their lower shock bushings? Mine have definite play in them after only 2 months and met a bloke last week who was on his 3rd set in 4 months. Been trying to work out which bushings I need and cant find the info anywhere. Bike isn't to hand either to measure and trying to avoid the legthy journey to the shop where I bought it from. Shock is the Stock Monarch + RC3. Think I need a 12.7 × 12.7, (1/2 × 1/2) but then there are several different width and bolt sizes to choose from. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Almost all bushings are the same size (1/2'') these days. I bought one of these as mine wore out after about 6 months (2013 mega Tr) and it worked a treat:

Thanks for the quick reply. I was looking on tftuned and could only see the bushes complete with the different size mount kits which was confusing me. Thanks for the link. Will give them a try. Has anybody else had issues with the bushes going so soon?

Thanks for the replies. Will try the tftuned ones and keep the ebay specials as spares.

I'd suggest a pair of low friction bushing instead of the heavy duty ones. The Mega link has a lot of rotation in the lower shock eyelet. I bought a pair of Racing Bros but you could choose also between TF-tuned and Mojo (original Fox low friction which are the same size of RS).

Tf use Racing Bros

Right guys out there with the round tube Megas. I'm selling my 2014 CCDB 200x57mm shock.

Top condition and the best thing since sliced bread but I have a DH bike and it's a bit overkill for me at the moment.

https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1547714/

Will be much better than any of these tuned shocks or fox's you're talking about. AND i might even throw in my heavy duty mounting kit Razz

Nice. Did you just de decal or is it a respray job? Thinking of having my Mega overhauled and going for a raw brushed chrome or gun metal grey. Love the bikes but far too many decals for me.

The colour was good, just when you scratched or chipped it you saw all the colours haha! I got the frame bead blasted to remove the powder coat then took some wire wool to it to shine it up Smile think about lacquering it but will see how it goes
