I've been trail riding some time, and want to move to DH. I'm 5'6 so wondering if small frames will be ok? and which bikes you guys rate? Looking at possibly; Specialized Big Hit, Specialized Demo 8, Giant Glory, Commencal Supreme ?
I'm 5'6 and am on my second Giant Glory. I had the 2009 and now the 2011. I have a bit of a shorter upper body and found that the Glory fits me really well. The Demo is really nice alsol. However the bottom bracket is really really close to the ground. Something that would make me very uncomfortable. I wouldn't say that I ride with any sort of grace...so I could see myself smashing the hell out of the pedals.
