I'm thinking of trying out a new gearing ratio just wondering what it's like ?

23-9 is good if you have a short space to get speed and vice versa

23-9 will be easier to pedal but you will get less speed, 29-9 would be harder to pedal but you would be able to go faster. I run 28-9 and I'm pretty stoked on it.

23-9 would be the best for grinding so that the sprocket don't get in the way, 29-9 is a bit harder to go faster, but i personally would go with 25-9

Should go with 25-9 rode the gearing ever no probs ever

28-9 on lower gearing i find going big scarier because you know your flat out, on stiffer gearing you feel like your hitting stuff slower because your pedaling slower (both going same speed) hope you understand what i mean

Also helps when doing things to fakie, less frantic back peddling Razz

Exactly! I ride a 28-9 and spend a lot of time in fakie. Feels so much better.
