So after watching lots of mtb'ing vids on 'tinternet and seeing what different countrys have to offer, which country do you think has the best trails, parks, single tracks, mountain rides, what ever? Im from the UK and have only just got into the hobby, but I have been blown away by some of the facilities in the US.
I like the forests in the UK and the Scottish highlands offer some hard to beat DH action from what ive seen.
North West England was great for biking when i lived there. I prefer Thailand because of the weather and the scenery. Next month i'm going to try Indonesia.
Being in the military I've had an opportunity to ride in a few different countries.
South Korea was surprisingly my favorite. Northern Italy is where I'm at now and it does indeed kick ass. Austria is damned good too. Taking a trip to a bike park in Slovenia this weekend.
I moved to Rwanda in April 2011 and have enjoyed a year of shredding in the land of a thousand hills. It is awesome. Although no parks yet.
I will second Rwanda, I was living there for 4 year and have done some of my most favourite AM riding there. There is excellent XC, DH and even great road riding. Lately Nepal has been my favourite nearby destination. Again excellent DH, AM, and XC. Where else in the world can you find 3000m descents? I also miss my home land the PNW of North America, Whistler, the Shore and Squamish, it's got it all.
