I need help on that. I bought a bike that came with a 2005 Bomber 66VF in pretty good shape. That was until I wanted to change the oil and find out that an incompetent used a vise-grip to unscrew the top cap and ruined it totally. I can't use a 21mm socket anymore and I will have to find a way to unscrew the thing. That shouldn't be a problem but still, I need to find the part somewhere and yet, after many researches and phone calls, it seems that the item is unfindable.
I saw many names for the part : «lock cap», «top cap» or «air cap». It's right under the protection cap (see picture) and it's mounted with the air adjustment valve that stick out on the top of it. It looks pretty specific to the 2005 66VF...
Does anyone know where I could find the part or even better, has one from an old 66VF fork ?!
