So ive got a 2004 Iron Horse SGS-Pro freeride and I need to buy a new rear shock for it. I was wondering if anybody had any advice on wether to go with an 8.5 or 8.75 eye to eye. Any help would be appreciated!
I guess I should rephrase the question. Ive already checked the eye to eye on my bike and its an 8.5. but looking throuhg different forums ive noticed some people say go 8.75 and some say go 8.5. So im wondering what would be the better length/ what do the different lengths do
The longer i2i would slightly steepen your head angle I would guess as it will be effectively pushing the front away from the back. Best bet would be go for the original length , the bikes suspension links etc would of been designed for certian leverage and length
