Chinese carbon rims..... Anyone got them are they any good?

lol, i've been on bike rides where a carbon rim was destroyed in one ride. They are fine for road racing and riding in the dry but on wet roads its just pissing money away. I guess if you live in the city then it's different but out here in the country side where the rocks are mostly quartz and sandstone it's just not sensible.
