Hi,

I'd like some feedback on what people think about the Norco CRR, specifically the LE. I'm planning on getting one next year. Besides the price, what other cons might there be? In comparison to other companies, how would the CRR LE stack up against the competition?

Links including specs:

Thanks.

In the price range of the LE, there are probably a dozen bikes that are far far better... Off the top of my head, in order of my own preference: Scott Foil, Pinarello Dogma 2, Cannondale SuperSix Evo, Canyon AeRoad, Cervello S5, Specialized Venge...

Norco are solid bikes for their entry level stuff and for someone looking to get into road biking who doesn't know many other brands but, if you're looking to drop close to $10k on a bike, there are much better options out there.

This bike, for example, would make that Norco it's bitch and send it home to cook dinner.... And you can probably find it cheaper than the Norco to boot.

I agree, I've sold a few CRR 1s, 2s and 3s.... but if ever a customer comes in looking for something above the 3 or 4 thousand mark I steer them towards something better. Norco does well with the more 'value' oriented price brackets, but you's get a better frame for the money with a higher end brand. Check into Ridley perhaps?

Does anyone know anything about Pinarello? Anyone own one?

Yeah... I have one. What do you want to know?

I've seen some videos and read about them. Seems to me they make the best road bikes in the world.

Pinarello Dogma 2 - if you were/are a road rider and price were no objective, would you buy or recommend one?

Yeah... they're sweet bikes. I'd put my top three bikes as the Foil, the SuperSix Evo, and the Dogma 2.
