I will try again and go a bit more "abstract" for you since i have a idea for one final image. I was trying to be abstract in the way I did the lighting on the second one.

my abstract was a beer bottle. my fisheye focuses to about 1cm from the glass so, i put the lens on the mouth of the bottle, and there's a sliver of in-focus glass on the inside of the bottle, then messed with HSL in lightroom...good guesses though.

I was closest! I win.

I never would have guessed a bottle, that's pretty neat.

Here's another, assuming it counts as abstract.

Looks like a banana wearing a black dress with sunglasses in front of the lens.

It's a lamp shade isn't it?

It's a really weird light that matches nothing in the house that we've got hanging from the ceiling.

Chiaroscuro 7/16/2012 to 7/30/2012

Here's a great cinematic example from 'Fallen Angel' (1945).

So, pictures with lots of light, but lots of darkness?

Art Nouveau is what I think the style is called correct me if I am wrong.

Well not exactly, chiaroscuro is basically the technique of using light and shadow to show three dimensional form within an image. It means light-dark in Italian.

Google it.

Alright, I'll give it a shot. Not sure what to do, but I'll give it a shot.

I forgot my camera battery at homethough. Frown
