I'm going on a road trip to Boulder over the summer, and where is like the best downhill riding trails and freeride. Were looking at going to keystone for a day and riding also. What are the best places around there to ride(question mark)
thanks, Nick

Valmont Bike Park in Boulder, best in the country for DJ and mild Freeride.

Resorts: SolVista and Trestle at Winter Park, about 15 min away from one another.

Would it be better to rent a AM bike or a Downhill bike, thank youSmile

Downhill bike at Valmont would be overkill. AM bike would be perfect. At the resorts though, you'll get the most out of your trip if you rent a dedicated DH bike. Plus, you can thrash it to all hell and not worry about it at the end of the day! Play a game called: Send it to Flat, LOL.

you could ride a fuel ex at keystone, but to get the most out of it you should rent a dh bike.
