So the Blur LT is ready for retirement, a few dents later and what not. Looking to replace it with an AM frame with the super-d / enduro mindset. Right now, the frame will be paired with a 160 Fox 36, rear shock with the frame can be changed to whatever so OE shock isn't of concern. Looking at these frames being they are all $1600 or less and have decent credibility for the Super D / Enduro purpose.
Nukeproof Mega - New-er with few reviews, but so far looks pretty bomber and only $1300 for the frame set
Covert - Been around a few years now, good single-pivot based design with reviews praising good rear wheel feedback and $1600 for the frame set
Sanction - Cheapest of the bunch with the frame being had for about 1k used. Purpose built for Enduro riding seems to be performing pretty well underneath Dan Atherton so far.
Also the NS Soda built up or AM is looking pretty good. $1600 for the frame to build up, 66.5 degree head angle plus a short wheel base, so that might not work so well for climbing.
As an outsider, the Diamondback Mission Pro is in the running as I can get that frame set for about 1400 with a reverb, shock and headset.
+1 for the mega, love mine. It feels like a downhill bike when descending and climbs really well, but the MOnarch blows through its travel really easily with the right sag so a coil shock would be best, if you can change the rear shock to whatever then get a CCDB for sure.
