Were to ride in Devon?

Going to visit some friends in Devon and was wondering were the best cross country riding can be had? I'm bringing a few bikes with me to borrow to my friends so a begginers route would be nice and nothing too technical. Thanks

Best cross country will be dartmoor. There's loads of paths going around. Just be sure to keep a map handy. If downhill then gawton and tavistock woodlands are the best bet.
