I have been to the Oak Ridges Moraine area many times to ride Durham Forest, Glen Major Forest, Walker Woods, and a few other trails. The area in general seems to have A LOT of potential to have great downhill styled trails for us to ride on (albion hills, dagmar for example). Glen Major forest in particular has a great slope for downhilling that starts on the top of the moraine that is fast and flowy and quite long, but lacks many features. Has anyone attempted to build and maintain the trails better in that area? Would anyone want to start to build features soon this season? I'd like some input to know were everyone stands on this topic, especially ontario downhill riders since we lack downhill trails. Thanks, Mike.
there's some stuff tucked away but nothing official. albion is controled by the xc crowd for years, there was a fun trail there but it was shut down. maybe with the new trail plan being developed it will be more inclusive.
on the plus side i'm laying out trail routes here with the trca:
though a full blown dh run is not possible, a more flowing gravity friendly trail is. if interested in helping out please feel free to contact me by pm.
I am not familiar with this Nashville Area, where is it?
the area has been under the radar for a long time. it is the humber river valley between the town of bolton and kleinburg. it is one of the few areas you can reach up here by public transportation from downtown toronto. you can actually take the #13 islington bus (it has bike racks) to the start of the property in kleinburg.

Crazy. I'm up in the Kawarthas, so that's likey why I've never heard of it. Thanks!
