its been done over and over. type in belt driven bike into google.

The only issue they haven't fully solved is gears. Belt driven currently can only do single speed. For someone who only needs one gear. Sure sounds great.

how are you going to solve the size of the belt? from the biggest ring to the smallest?

very impractical.

It works good for single speed. Its been done many many times. Trek has a belt driven single speed. But gears is different.

Going to have to get off your bike, just to change gears. I'd more likely just walk up the hill instead.

Your frame also needs to split so you can slide a new belt through... cool idea for single speeds I'd be stoked to have a belt drive town bike or even a 29er to go cruise some xc trails on
