My riding has processed to where I am getting comfortable doing 3-6 foot drops, but I'm having trouble with the bike falling out from under me in the air. This is very unpleasant and dangerous. I have watched the recent technique video by Barel which helped quite a bit, but be didn't mention anything about my problem. My feet usually leave the pedals only an inch or so, but this totally breaks my concentration and has caused me to crash a few times (usually from getting racked in the 'nads). I have tried angling my feet instead of keeping them flat and horizontal on the pedals, which helps a little. I have also tried pushing the bike forward instead of just letting gravity control everything, which helps a little as well.
Any tips would help, and videos or pics I could study would be even better. I'm sure I'm not the only person with this problem, so I'm hoping this can help others, too. Thanks in advance.
