13 enduro comp vs 08 enduro expert

So my question is this... I currently own a realitivly stock 08 enduro sl expert, if I bought a 2013 enduro comp would the components be an upgrade all around because of technology advancements in the past 5 years? Any help would be awesome as I'm about to put a deposit down if so. Thanks in advance.

Just sort the pros & cons. The newer bike descends better but climbs worse, the older one has a better drivetrain, the new rig has stronger wheels and a stiffer frame, and the old bike had better stock tires.
