took the D21 out drifting on some damp roads tonight for the last time before i pull it off the road to do the DE swap, and IRS swap just so i can remember how awful drifting with leaf springs and an open rear diff is.

I took leggy out today to let the motor run and thought it would be smart to take it around the block. I forgot how bad the clutch was and I got stuck going into my driveway due to a ice pothole about 5cm deep. ( I stopped because I was gunna back in but changed my mind

Ported and polished runners, polished combustion chamber, oversized valves, 0.008" surface shave.

And then here is my crank all cleaned up and looking new. Only needs a polish, no grinding. Happy happy happy.

I also picked up a set of split exhaust manifolds. I'll have the local speed shop make me a stainless Y-pipe to the turbo. Oh and I'm working on where to place the fuel injector bungs in the manifold too. Math yo.
