Hi There, I just bought a Commercial Premier S 2012 and looking forward to start some Downhill trips. No Idea if this bike is appropriated for such trips. As my skills are more than limited I think I do not do anything wrong in practicing with it but wanted to have some information about this bike if appropriated or not recommended at all... (?)
Hi mate, It definitely isn't built for downhill but it will probably take a bit of a beating before it breaks
If you are kean on keeping the warranty I wouldnt ride this downhill.. but since Commencal are notoriously bad at redeeming warranties its probably not worth pussying around cos you're scared of breaking it.
Also check details on frame snapping, because Commencal really suffered with their Meta and some Supremes a few years ago.. e.g http://www.descent-world.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2611.0
good luck with it all dude and sorry it's not the greatest news - but you ought to be aware
