Just picked up a Giant Reign off craigslist. It came with CrankBrothers Mallet half clip in pedals and they kind of slip around under my foot. Can anyone recommend me some lightweight flat top pedals that will grip? I would like to stay under 100 bucks
I would like some nice dark blue or black ones to go with the color scheme.
Got the Reverse Escape ones, like them so far. They took one hell of a beating after 1 week in the alps, but still running smoothly and no play at all. All the pins that I manage to bend/tear off/loose can be replaced (I've check all the threads, they're good, can't say that with the pair of Wellgo MG1 I had before, where 1 pin out meant 1 less pin on the pedal ).
As for the colour scheme, they have them available in a few colours, and you can swap the pins for some other colour.
I'm not buying anything from superstar any more (haven't bought anything, but wanted to at some point). Cheap stuff yes, but far too many issues with them for me ...
From the pads that disintegrate to the wheels with 3 or 4 different spoke length on ONE side of the wheel, no thanks. I'd rather buy some Wellgo... To bad because the design of the SS pedals isn't too bad!
I really like the dark blue superstar ones. I also really like reverse escape in blue and black. Which color blue do yall think will look better on my bike?
