Hi guys and gals,

Looking to move over the Oz pretty soon and the thought of not been able to enjoy those awesome trails you guys have with a bunch of mates to have a laugh with is killing me!

For me biking is about getting a bunch of mates and having the most fun possible, normally at each others expense lol.

I currently ride a Mondraker Foxy R 2012, a bike which I love and while its 140mm travel its able to keep up with 160/170mm machines pretty well.

Anyone never seen one in Oz? I'd love a bike where people and interested and ask about but I know they do not have a dealer so and problems become big problems :-(.

I could sell the bike and walk into a local bike store once I move and end up with something nasty to own and ride.

Anyway, If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks,

Si

Probs sorting visas end of this year which i think takes around 12 month to get them ect, not sure where we will end up but will be Sydney or Melbourne, I like the Sydney vibe with surfing and beaches ect but Melbourne looks pretty cool and houses are cheaper plus the F1 lol.

Check out Mt Buller, its a couple of hours away but it plans on being like Whister bike park :-)

Where you heading dude or you not sorted on that yet?

I have got a working visa already so i have to be in oz by june but its only for a year, then if i like it i will apply for permanent residency whilst i am there, I think i am going to head somewhere along the east coast, i know thats a big area but somewhere there haha, probably closer to sydney though, I'm hoping to go to the F1 whilst I'm there though.
I will have a look now and probably end up checking it out whilst I'm there

Peter,

Cool stuff, hope your move goes to plan.

I keep toying with the idea of buyin a roadie for fitness work, but I generally don't see road riders smiling lol.

Keep us posted and it would be great if we all can ride some dusty trails in Oz.
