I've worn out the bearings in my rear wheel and I am having immense trouble finding a replacement rear wheel or wheelset that is intended for racing.

Chainreactions and winstanleys both fall short.

Anyone know a good place I can source these from or is able to list some brands that make race rims/hubs for 24" bikes so I can try and get a one custom built?

i tried to find some bits for my sons 24" bike with no luck anywhere, manufactures are not intrested in making stuff for 24" wheeled bikes anymore as it does not sell. had to convert 26" hubs and forks in the end, works fine

I ended up fixing my wheel instead.

The bearings inside had worn down and eventually smashed, causing it to come off the races, so they where running on the threaded part of my axle, grinding each other to dust.

I bought some new hub bearings and a new axle and race. I had to angle grind down the races a little bit as they where too wide for my chain stay width at first.

I did find some 24" wheels in the end (after a lot of searching) but they where £300 race set, more than I wanted to spend on a Redline MX I bought for £250.
