i was wondering if a jamis parker II 09 frame would be a good starter frame for me
i have been doing dirt jumps for a few years now but on a hardtail and i wanted to go a bit more xtreme and i found this frame at a brilliant price so i was wondering what thet are like for dirt jumps/free ride??

If your getting the one off rb inc for 999$ yes I have had mine for a cuple months now and I really like it other than its a bit hevy . With new fork and wheels I got it down to 33lb . I have heard of lots of people braking the rear chain stay but it's covered by warranty

ok thanks for that are they good to ride ? on dirt jumps ?
Its all so my first FS. I find that the cockpit is a little cramped for my trail /xc riding .As for jumping i dont do any tricks but handles very well on 5 to 8 foot drops (my biggest) ITs the fist bike i have jumped on so my opinion inset the greatest but i find that it is very stable but not the greatest balanced after i droped 2 lb of the fork and lb off the front wheel.
i remember hearing about breakage and saw pics so I was scared off...but one of my buddies picked one up and he beats that thing and it keeps rolling jumps/drops/etc

I picked up the 08 for $800 the best 800 I've ever spent I must say I've had it for like 2 months now it still rides great I use it for dh racing and it holds up great and it's good to get skills down for freer riding, if u get the skills on a short travel your better on a 8pm them you would have been. For dj I'm not to sure... Ive taken mine to a few bmx parks it holds up well and it easy to flick around a bit.
