f*cking amazing shock.

That said, I feel that the coil + a ti spring suits the glory better.

works components make a 2 degree headset i use it on my glory running a 65.5 degree head angle and its a good quality headset way better then the stock fsa one, it doesn't make those creaking noises either!

I'm gonna possibly buy an almost brand new 2013 giant glory II today and I was wondering what were some of your guys opinions on the bike. What is the bike good for and bad for? Also does the bike have any flaws?

Posted: Jun 23, 2014 at 9:39 Quote
the only real flaw is the chainstay length. it's a bit long.

Best upgrade I did to mine (2013 Glory 1) was Saint brakes. After that, Zee and Saint shifter/mech but that's just personal preference.

Congrats man, that looks mint. I have a 2014 and Its so much fun. Its long and stable (chainstays included), but its light enough to be good in the air. The more I ride it, the more I love it. I had a voltage, and the glory blows it away.

Be warned, the bike needs an aggresive rider, and you gotta steer with your head more so than with other DH bikes. I didnt like it the first ride, i thought it was slow and unresponsive. It was me that was slow and unresponsive, the bike was just waiting for me to get better in order to become friends...Its once you do that, it becomes nimble as ever, and those long chainstays help with speed.
