Very beautifull bike but that frame being the S as i view it with the big wheels ...not so sure.
For me the frame would be a L (1,86m) i prefer because it´s bigger.
But i must congrat you because that bike is amazing.
And thanks for your review that´s what i would like to know.
I have an oldy stump 26er and i will mantain that and invest in a new 29er..

My 2013 Comp Evo 26
I9 Torch Gravity wheels were the best investment so far. Planning on upgrading to a Fox Float 36 soon.

Here's my 2015 stumpy 29er that I've just bought. I've swapped out the stock bars and stem for some 750mm Eason Havens and a 40mm stem. Next on the list is the brakes, then hopefully a monarch!

Hello, I came up with one weird idea.

Does anybody know if it is possible to put 650b stays on 26'' SJ.

Is there any difference in width of BB mount and link?

I managed to wreck seatstays and chainstays, so I need to buy them and could buy 650b stays and eventually upgrade to 650b wheels Smile

It should be interesting thing to try Big Grin

I could measure out the links on my 650b stumpy and post them up for comparison???

Would be great Smile so seattube BB link mount and seatstay mount on the link would be enough I think Smile

Pretty sure they use different diameter links.

I don't know, on this picture looks like the same link...

Let's see measurements and it'll be more than pretty sure Smile

The 650b uses the front triangle from the Stumpy 29er so you may have issues with the interaction of the front wheel with that 26 front triangle on your bike. Maybe also the geo up front using the front triangle from a 26, as the 650b Stumpy has a larger lower headset cup to compensate for that 29er frame being used with shorter 650b forks. I think you may end up with a high and short bike overall, and specifically your BB will be much higher than on the 650b bike. So I can't say I'd recommend it but hey anything's possible...Big Grin

MRP direct mount 28t + MRP Micro-guide x 11-36t SRAM x-glide cassette. Will this gearing be okay? I havn't done much research with the 1x setup, but I'm considering a 40t big cog. I havn't ridden this bike yet.

Also have a new Renthal 50mm stem to replace the Syntace Megaforce 80mm, which is for sale.

Complete bike weighed 26.14lbs w/o pedals and in 2x10 configuration.
