Would be interested to see where you cracked it... I absolutely crushed the shit out of my Undead and it was fine.
I surely hope you are not talking about the well documented paint cracks near the linkage that are purely cosmetic and come from the metal inserts and carbon flexing at different rates or else you would have wasted a lot of your own time for nothing! Good luck.
I know all about the paint cracks around the linkage and obviously so do evil so they wouldn't recalled the swing arm if it was that after all I had to send pics off the damage area, anyway back to my original issue has anybody from Europe had to send anything back to be checked/changed under warranty if so how long was the turn round as I was told it would only be a few weeks. Thanks
Bummer...so are you going to share the pictures? Rear axle bolt...how hard were you torquing it down....
Nothing at all, I'm an engineer and no not to tighten things down always torque things dwn to what is stated, it was a de lamination crack so paint coat and a layer of carbon separated, just been sent a pic of the repair from the carbon specialist so should have it back soon can't wait
Hi all what would be the best way to complain about the service I got from the Europe branch as I feel they handle the issue very badly, did I email the American branch as I assume that's the HQ of evil. Thanks for any advice
my bad meant to say with the wheels off reason being my frame is with out the swing arm at moment so can't measure it, I no it is 47.8 as it states it on the side off the frame sorry for a silly question
What happened to the axle head? Looks rounded/ damaged
Clipped a tree and when I went to remove the axle cap it pulled the paint coat away from the carbon but it's been repaired its had another coat since that pic so looks far better
