My bike was destroyed in an accident, I had a 2008 Cannondale with Sram Force group but with Sram Red Brakes.
I really liked the Sram product and was thinking about purchasing a new groupo although I'm still not sure if I should just transfer my current stuff onto a new frame,
A few questions I was thinking about buying "Force" because I liked what I had but I like the look of the "red" It may sound stupid. I ride leisurely and performance isn't a make or break it for me.
To save a few $$ is it wise to keep the SRAM old RED brake calipers instead of buying a whole new group with the calipers? Did a lot change in 08/09 calipers compared to what is available now?
I noticed when buying a crank there are a bunch of different size options I know I need a BB30 but sizing 172mm/175mm/177.5mm
what does this represent and how do I know or measure what I need?
I also noticed there is SRAM RED, RED 22 and RED black edition . This is going onto a road bike, likely a Cannondale. Is the RED 22 the top of the line "red series?"
