I've got a 2013 scott speedster 20 w/ full 105 components and it came with some generic Syncros Race 28 Aero Profile wheels. I know they are garbage but they seemed to be doing a decent job as i got used to riding a road bike. I'm 210lbs, not racing just aggressive recreation riding/training. I'm looking for something lighter, stronger, better rolling than what i've currently got.
I dont want to spend $1000+ on wheels...the bike was barely that. I'd like to get something decent that i can even carry over to a new bike up the road.
Was looking at 3 different options and was looking for opinions;
Campag make some cheaper top class wheel sets as well, Scirocco's winner. Zonda's are just the most amazing if you wanna spend a bit more. Just make sure you get the Shimano free body
Mavic Ksysium's and most Bontragers are good but getting parts and prices is a bummer
