Does anyone have any experience with these? I am thinking about grabbing a pair but I want to know if they're any good. Also gotta figure out a good tire to match. So recommendations would be nice Smile These are going on my current bike in my profile, might change the fork on it before I set everything up though.

I am riding tweets on my downhill hardtail and they took a lot of beating this season. In my opinion a very good and tough rim.

It's funny, because usually I'm not a big fan of many colors being mixed together, but on your bike somehow it looks really awesome. I like it! Pimp

thanks guys, to the starter of this forum, it might be a good idea to wait for the 2014 spank spoon wheel set, there will also be an 11T single speed conversion kit for it for micro gearing, they're all on chainreactioncycles.com and not too baly priced, i aim to run some in blue for next year

I was waiting to buy just in case I saw something better. As long as I get purple, I'm cool.

superstar bikes would do purple rims for a good price, not so sure if they export out of the UK though

I've got Tweets, in purple, on my Reptoid, they look sick and I have found them incredibly strong! Definitely a good buy!
I've put barons on in the first image, really decent tire for the money got mines for 30 quids the pair and they are decent enough for what I do with the bike, and at 2.3" wide they look meaty on the bike.

You've got basically the same color setup that I was considering too. My blue will be more of a powder blue though, like the color they have available for the DMR Bolt.

Isn't the bolt blue and reptoid blue the exact same? Or are you talking about the older aqua blue they done the bolt in?
Either way it'd look sick, and the spank wheels are a really nice colour Eggplant purple!

It's a lighter blue than the reptoid. The reptoid is more aqua.

Not being funny dude, but the Reptoid is the exact same powder blue haha. It's a nice colour and it goes well with the purple, DMR do a lot of parts in the purple colour too which closely matches the spank purple if you're wanting to put wingbars or something on it Smile

Oh the pictures make it look different. I live in Canada so chances of me seeing a DMR part is pretty rare. That stuff stays in Europe most of the time.
