Hello out there pinkbikers!
I'm looking to get a used set of upgraded wheels for my Specialized status. My price range is about $250max.

My main riding style is heavy park riding and some occasional chunky sections.

any advice? Suggestions?

(i would like to keep the wheels when i upgrade bike frames, so i need something that will last for a good while)

save your money till you can afford something more. You will end up with a wheelset that is equal to or worse than the wheels on your status for $250.

I can get that by selling some stuff.

I've been riding Industry Nine wheels for years now and they have been great to me.

Don't know what spacing your axles are but you can find tons of great used wheels for your type of riding for even around $500. I do agree that $250 is too low to justify replacing yours now.

For 5-700 range you could find some nice stuff (DT Swiss, Chris King Hubs, Mavic)
