Hey guys,

I'm going to replace the bearings of my 2012 Giant Trance X but before I open up the bolts I want to be sure that I know the correct torques of the pivot bolts.. I can't find any manual or plan ..

And if you wonder why I want to change the bearings and didn't even open up the bolts -> I actually opened one bolt and tested the bearing with my fingers and you can definitely feel the wear in it Big Grin

Thanks a lot
Dennis

Hey bro, Google "Giant Maestro suspension guide 7.0". It should be the first hit "frame features". It's for 2013 but its the same as 2012. It's a PDF with all the suspension pivot torques and other useful info. Make sure to use loctite BLUE thread locker. Do not use the red liquid! (Permanent). It will take god and country to get them out in the future,

Thank you ! You really helped me Smile
There also stands that it is from 2010 to 2013, so it's alright

Yup, red would be worst case Razz I'll order some Loctite 243 and the matching bearings from KaTec Bikes..
