Hi all!

I'm considering doing a cross-country bike tour from where I currently live in the Rockies (CO) back to my hometown in Pennyslvania. I'm trying to figure out logistics though. Have any of you done a trip of this distance? How much did it end up costing you? I'm estimating it taking 1.5-2 months and i plan on camping and making a lot of my own food on a camping stove. I would be leaving mid-April. Also, debating whether to use panniers or tow a trailer, one person said cars usually give bikes with trailers more clearance (he thinks because they might mistake it for a baby or something). Anyways, any input you have would be greatly appreciated as I plan this out. Thanks!
