Do you want/need a suspension fork?

It mainly depends on your ride style. from what I've ridden and seen DK bikes have a geometry catering much more towards park riding while KHS is alot more all around. So in my opinion DK makes bikes that are better if your looking for something to ride park and street were as KHS has bikes that are better for all around (park, street, dirts, 4x, slopestyle).

DK used to have a very strong reputation in BMX. During the 90's they were an independent brand that made high end frames (no completes). Some time in the late 90s or early 2000's, they started making BMX completes like the "Six Pack" and "General Lee." These were still pretty solid bikes for the money.

Some time in the early 2000's, they made a mountain bike called the UX or something??

Then in the mid 2000's, like 2004/2005, they made the DK Xenia 26" DJ mtb. I bought one of those. It was all 4130 chromoly and very durable. I still like it. Around 2009 or so, they changed the name to DK Asterisk. But it was still the same bike.

BUT, then some time around 2011?? DK, (like Mongoose, Hyper, and some other bmx brands) allowed their company name to be slapped on Walmart bikes. So, there are really two DK brands.... the real DK and the Walmart DK.

Walmart has a complete DK Xenia that is not the same as the original DK Xenia. It sells for $299 complete (I have even seen it as low as $239). The old DK Xenia was $699 through bike shops.
Here it is for $259: http://shop.dkbicycles.com/DK-Xenia-26/dp/B00FGV6MUU?field_availability=-1&field_browse=2485970011&id=DK+Xenia+26&ie=UTF8&refinementHistory=brandtextbin%2Csubjectbin%2Ccolor_map%2Cprice%2Csize_name&searchNodeID=2485970011&searchPage=1&searchRank=salesrank&searchSize=12

I really don't know if this cheaper DK Xenia holds up. For that price, you could always just try it. Like I said, the complete DK's from bike shops were very solid good bikes for the money. If this one is like that, then it's definitely worth it. But, if it's actually a downgraded version for Walmart, it may not be.

I have never heard of the DK Option 26" (the one in your picture). Just looking at it, the geometry appears to be pretty good.

FWIW ive owned that DK and while it IS a well built bike (chromo frame/fork) the Geo is horrible.. doent manual, doesnt like being in the air.. poor design...

Edit: which DK is that? Mine was an Xena, my review may be wrong

maybe to you the geometry is awful. i feel like the geometry of a bike feels different from person to person. as someone who has owned multiple DK bikes in the past i like the way they feel and expressed that in my comment. that's my experience though and i know it will vary.
