Hello all. I am getting ready to build up a new wheelset for my DJ and am thinking about going with XM719's instead of EX721's. I like the idea of shaving half a pound from the wheelset, but am not sure that the rims will be strong enough. I have a set of 721's laced to Pro II's on my big bike, and have been pleasantly surprised by how stiff and strong those wheels are. I will be going with Pro II's, double butted spokes, and brass nipples again, but am having trouble deciding which hoops to run.

I weigh 120 pounds and use this bike for dirt jumping and some park. I occasionally put a front brake on it for flowy trails and 4x. I am a smooth rider, but this is a dirt jumper. Casing jumps, flat landings, and the like are part of the game. I know the 721's will hold up to the abuse, but will 719's cut it? Searching has yielded mixed answers of yes and no.
