20.5,that's a short frame for a adult.

Anyways, love the civic, that thing must f*cking rip with that much power.I have a S2000 running a SOS supercharger kit boosting 14 psi.

If we ever meet at a stoplight at night,we are going at it.

I like it compact.. tried out a 21in 3rd wave and felt a little stretched

Mission street Legals is where i'm gonna be racing this Summer after a Dyno tune

supercharged S2000 is Beasty..

If you like short frames, then so be it.It's cool with me.

Mission streel legals?....hell no,not me,I got better things to do than pay money and wait all night just to get one run.How about the back roads of Langley near zero ave.?

Who will be tuning the car?

Tom Seawell did the street tune last summer but i blew a seal in the turbo before it went on the Dyno.. Hope he will be Back in Town before the track opens up

I put too much Time into building the car to have it impounded for illegal street racing.. Don't get me wrong... I don't mind lining up with you

my Buddys shop put the F20c in a Datsun wagon and my Brothers friend was rollin around in a yellow jackson supercharged S2000

If you need a good tuner, check out Blitzkrieg, they did my tune and many others that I know. The tuner/owner is a former crew chief for a Porsche ALMS works team,so the guy knows what he's doing, they use the Dynapack for tuning.

I love the supercharger, but I just yearn for turbo, once I get board of it,I think I will go turbo, build up the bottom end and whatever needs to be done and aim for 700-800HP.It won't be cheap, but at least I can keep up with or destroy single turbo Supras with that much power.

What shop do you deal with?

You had me at 'Porshe'.. Epic AutoSports is Krew

Supras are Scarrry... i worked in a CNC shop with a guy that had a Big single Turbo setup.. his clutch started slipping around 900hp range... pretty sure he was running Carbon Clutch

Hey now,what's wrong with Porsches?

I know a bunch of people with single turbo Supras, but a certain one I'm really afraid of,you might have seen it at the Mission street legals, silver with a TRD widebody kit.Well this thing made 1100HP on the Racing Greed Mustang dyno with his previous HKS twin turbo set up,now he went with a massive single turbo and it pounded the dyno rollers at 1477 running 50+ PSI !!!!! The Racing Greed Mustang dyno reads 18% less than a standard Dynojet dyno.

I went for a ride when it made 1100HP and it was the scariest thing I have ever ridden in,the guy also drove it like a crazy maniac during the joy ride.I don't want to ride in it now with 1477HP.

Oh the clutch for this thing is a Tilton carbon tripple plate,it cost 5K.

Nothing is wrong with Porsche (except Cayenne)

Luv it.

Is the owner of the monster Supra named Duane? .. His was white if i remember correctly

Posted: Jan 19, 2012 at 11:43 Quote
Nope, his name is not Duane,I know who you are talking about.....older white Supra with CCW classic rims with a 2JZ swap.....it makes only 900HP.

This guys Supra is a MKIV silver with a TRD widebody kit......or was silver.

I'm not sure what his current Hp#'s are but that's what he was running back then..

its a pretty small world.. might see the one you're talking about at the track... whats it run in the Quarter Mile?

The gearhead community is small locally, and if you own a sick car, alot of people who are really into it,will know who has what.

When the car was at 1100HP,it ran a high 9 secs at the 1/4 on street tires and also missed a shift in 3rd gear, soon after that run,he was not allowed to run anymore, due to not having a cage for running those times.

Duane has a 7M, not a 2JZ.

Also this thread is waaaayyyyy off topic. For topic's sake, I still like my Flatware grips a lot.

You sure? last time I spoke to him he said it was a 2JZ,it looked like a 2JZ under the hood too.

Back on topic, when it comes to grips,it's all about personal choice on what people think is the best,I have tried Animal Edwins for like two months, hated them, don't know why people rave about them so much, switched back to Aaron Ross keyboard grips, love them, won't use anything else again, don't know why so many people hate them, but I love them, case in point.
