Jesus, 307s with 33s is going to be awful, not trying to turn you off the idea but my 373s on 33s is one hell of tall gear, going to 4.54s soon for 35's but I can't imagine what 307s would be like

I'm not entirely sure if that is the gearing haha, just what the Internet told me. I'll look into it more. But yeah I didn't realize it was 3.07s, it's a standard trans and 4.0L, so I guess that's what the gearing is. I know that would not really be great with 33s...so I guess I'll have to see.

Especially not great with the 4.0. My v8 struggles at times on the highway

I'm not positive on the 3.07 gears, so I'll definitely have to look into that! I just read up what people have to say about it...5th gear is apparently useless and fuel mileage and power goes down the drain...shit. Looks like I'll have to do even more than I thought haha

i'm rocking some 33's with 3.55 ratio, works fine, although i wouldnt mind some 4.10's

You dd? I mean it's fine for like the city but once you get to a hilly section of highway things get f*cky

DD? oh hell yeah. the 4.0 H.O with the AW4 has no issues with that gear ratio and 33's. I cruise at 120km/h on the highway and stay at 2200RPM

built my new ghetto fab down pipe for my heep today, keeping with the trend of reuse, and recycle, as well as spending as little money as possible. (usually means it looks like shit but works)

Don't mind the welds or the collector I just made it work since I have a few fractured ribs, so i just wanted to get it done with, I made it all out of scrap cut outs to fit, plus I had to fill in a 1/2" gap on the collector, so i just formed a bit of metal over it, And the welds do the job for an 85A flux core mig welder, Could do better, but i got good penitration, and had to fill some gaps. It's strong, and its exhaust so IDK

at least now i have a down pipe with no restriction (stock one goes from 2" then gets crushed to 1" before the O2 sensor, then back to 2"). I could grind everything down to make it look pretty but again IDK much.

And cherocars look neat without a bumper when they are lifted. with the old stock manifold, should be good with the new rugged ridge manifold in there.

That actually looks good with no bumper. I'll probably end up making a tube bumper at some point, or getting one made. Depends when, because I'm hoping to go to school for welding, so depends.

I'll be making a simple tube bumper soon, with a small built in skid plate. Make sure when you make your bumper, build frame stiffeners that tie in to where your power steering box mounts if you plan on having a winch and using the bumper for recovery. the factory mounts will most likely just rip out of the unibody

I will definitely keep that in mind, I'd like my future bumper to stay on the Jeep haha. I have an idea what I'd want. Something that has a winch mount likely, smaller skid plate, and a stinger.
Something like this, but obviously for a Jeep

thats almost exactly what i'm doing, just a little less complicated, and no stinger since I don't plan on flipping my cherokee ass over tea kettle

edit, almost exactly this minus the stinger.

And a very similar design on the rear, except I'm going to built in a tire swing gate and Jerry can / ammo box tray

Yeah what you posted is pretty much what I'd do, just with probably a winch mount, and a taller stinger actually haha.

I'm not going to do a rear tire mount, I'm going to pick up a roof rack and put all that stuff up there. I'm going to leave the back open for a bike rack once I get it.

gets heavy lifting tires bigger then 33's onto the roof of a lifted jeep lol. And the way I plan on building my rear bumper will allow for bike rack to fit on behind the tire, since I'm going to be building 2" receivers to interchange a winch on the front or back bumpers with the winch mounted on a tray so i can carry it, and store it in the back of the truck when it's not needed

Oh yeah fair enough! That'll work. I'm still going to go with spare tire in the roof rack, that's just what I prefer! I'll get a light bar(s) too, either roof or front bumper mount, I'd have to see.
