I've got the frame without default headset and fork so I placed there usual tapered headset. The frame wasn't modified for that new Oversized 2 standard, only fork (marzocchi 66), headset and stem were.

ok i understand, but the bike is not modified for a overdrive 2 its a standart taper head tube on those, must be nice to be able to change your stem.... on mine i can't, only if i change the top headset cup and the upper on the totem$$$$

You could also increase the hole in new stem manually) Is that stock stem so bad?

no its not bad, it would be just fun to be able to switch it for a lighter and sexier one

I'm using my holzfeller stem for a several years already and I'm not gonna change it cause its probably the best stem)

thats stock and is too weak for me (only 400 lbs), I'm gonna change it for 450-500
