My new bike is to be delivered this week and I've bought a few sheets of the clear vinyl frame protection. I'm going to do the chainstays, under down tube and fork legs.
What is safe to wipe the bike with first so the tape sticks best and doesn't leave a bad finish underneath.
Thanks

All you are needing to do is remove any contaminants so you don't neutralize the sticky on the protection strips. Use rubbing alcohol diluted in water.

No problem. Surgical spirit is rubbing alcohol. How much does it need diluting?

I'd say about 40% alcohol to water.

Does it need drying first and can all vinyl be applied wet or only some? Cheers

It evaporates naturally so no worries.
