Just picked up a 2013 Giant STP SS. I live in Morton, right in the middle of Illinois. Anyone know of any good trails to ride? Know how to work hard and use a shovel, too. Don't just wanna shred, wanna help maintain/build the trails too!

hey i live about 5 min south in tremont and pamba is the local trail maintaining crew. if you go to there website you can view all the trails www.pambamtb.org one of my fav is farmdale reservoir but in my opinion the best trail in the area is in Marquette Heights. all of the trails are xc oriented but indy has alot more climbs to decent flowy descents. becareful in indy though if you dont know whats coming and are carrying speed you can go over the bars very easy! i shattered my coller bone their 3 years ago. but all the trails in the peoria area are by far the best in il besides southern if they have any.
