Hi,

I'm rebuilding my Fox F Series fork which calls for 7 wt fork oil. From what I understand I should be using Fox Green 10wt oil which is basically rebranded motorcycle Torco RSF medium.

The local bike shops only have 5wt fork oil and I don't want to wait to order the oil. I have a lot of of Bel-Ray fork oil left over from my motorcycle fork rebuild, this is not synthetic, does anyone know if this oil will work in this fork?

Thanks

if your motorcycle oil is designed to work in fork damper and has needed viscosity, use it and have no worries. synthetic formula is even better a bit. just clean your fox well from old oil before fuelling it with new one
