Got a marin rock springs amd I have two issues I can't seem to get loxal bike shops interested in. Problem 1. The rear drop out, non drive side is moving as I brake and makes a cracking noise, do these suffer from this? Problem 2. When moving, the frame ticks all over the place. Do you guy have any ideas?

Thanks

Dan

First thing I'd do if you haven't already is check all of the bearings, pivots and dropouts for any wear. If the dropout is moving but the bolts are tight that suggests the bolt holes are worn. Hopefully it would just be the dropouts holes that are worn and not the frame holes. Make sure you use some lock tight on the bolts as well as they like to come loose.

A simple strip down a regrease of the frame might get rid of the creaking and it's also the best way to check for any wear in the bearings and linkages. My Wolf Ridge would creak if any of the bolts/nuts were slightly loose in the linkages so they're worth keeping an eye on.
