as far as I know , Shimano cranks come with 24mm spindle, BTW I run my XT cranks on a spanish BB frame

Spanish bb's are designed for 19mm or 22mm spindles:

Which frame are you getting?

Some frames require a small sprocket, ie 28t or less. Some MTB cranks, the smallest chainring is 32t or maybe 30t.

So BMX or BMX-style mtb cranks might be best.

i have a 2013 leaf cycles ruler (psychedelic hazeDrool )
the guy i bought my bike from probably modified the cranks to a 22 mm spindle.

*edit: found this on the leafcycles site:
Kettenblatt: 30 Zähne
which means: chainring:30 teeth

I run 30/14 on a Black Market Mob with Profile bmx cranks with 6" spindle. The Mob has a 73mm bb shell and euro bb.
