Just joined the forum.

I'm currently building my bike, I've got a marin east peak frame and a few other bits and bobs.

Any suggestions to take into consideration whist building?

Always double check compatibility between parts/frame/etc before purchasing and make sure you purchase the correct size for parts that vary. I transferred parts from my old bike when I built my current one and ended up needing to buy more parts than I initially thought as I learned more about bike building.
